“For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people, instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age…”  Titus 2:11-12  (HCSB)

Oh, the matchless grace of God.  It extends far beyond human comprehension. Grace opens a pathway to the very presence of God, providing a way for each of us to stand before Him in holy relationship. Oh the joy and glory of such a thought! But such a pathway is narrow (Matt. 7:14). No toll booths attend this path but it is bordered sharply with ramparts of righteousness.

Grace and righteousness are inseparably bound.  God never intended a universe of grace without galaxies of righteousness.  The grace of God is infinitely dear.  We dare not cheapen it with worldly, sinful lusts and passions excused away under the blanket of grace.

We must do more than theologize rightly.  We must live rightly so our testimony will honor God.  We must worship rightly by letting our spiritual lights shine brightly in the glory of God’s universe of grace.  Such living and worshipping will fill our hearts, allowing us to radiate the very glory of God.
